ED & BORDERS VIRTUAL REGIONAL QUALIFIER - THE RESULTS!!!

Many, many congratulations to everyone who took part in this year's Virtual RQ.  It was a bit of a learning curve to get to grips with the technology, but it worked and we had a cracking competition.

One of the Judges commented "a smashing bunch lots to like".  Dressage entries held up, though there were fewer Arts & Crafts entries.  This is common across all Regions.  I am delighted to say that two groups competed for the first time - Muirfield and Upper Nithsdale, joined Ravelrig, Tweeddale Rideability, Border and Berwickshire Groups.

As you can see from the results we have had lots of successful entries with many scoring above the threshold (60.0% Dressage, 65% Arts & Crafts) to Qualify (Q) for the virtual National Championships in September.

Entries open on the Monday 12th of July and close on Friday 27th August.  Over the next few days packs will be sent to each group containing rosettes and National Championship packs for groups and competitors.

More details are also available on MyRDA under National Championships.  Kim plans to deliver trophies to groups rather than post them and will be in touch with more detail.

Finally, a huge thank you to our judges - Sarah, Irene and Shona for taking the time to support us, and to the volunteers and supporters who worked hard to prepare the competitors, horses and ponies for a fantastic competition.  Well done everyone!!
